Ambassador's Lecture at the University of Cambridge
Following last year, Ambassador Chun Yung-woo continued to engage in public diplomacy this year as well by holding a public lecture on the Six-Party Talks and the South-North diplomatic relations on 13th January 2009 at Clare Hall, University of Cambridge.
Ambassador Chun’s lecture this year was held at Clare Hall, at which the former President Kim Dae-jung is registered as an honorary fellow. The place has also been the venue for the 2006 Korean Festival, and its bond with Korea still continues today.
Ambassador Chun joined dinner with Martin Harris, Dean of Clare Hall, and asked for his support in Korean studies and for Korean students currently studying at the University of Cambridge. (University of Cambridge has been offering Korean studies since 2008 with support from the Korean government)
