The Korean Embassy in the UK held the 2025 Development of Korea-UK Relations Essay Competition Awards Ceremony on Friday, November 21st.
27 entries were submitted on a variety of topics, including K-culture, K-food, AI and digital, the climate crisis, foreign affairs and security, and economic growth.
The Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy, Han Seung-ho, presented the winners with certificates and prizes (1st place: LG Laptop, 2nd place: Samsung Galaxy Watch, 3rd place: Samsung Galaxy Buds).

- 3rd Place: Tayjah Talukder / Essay Topic: Bridging a 5,500-Mile Gap: How Korea-UK Bilateral Cooperation Through Sport Can Drive Progress
Furthermore, since so many excellent essays were submitted, we will be awarding gift certificates for Korean food to five other winners: Lucy Waugh, Yoonki Lee, Suyeon Na, Hochung Cho, and Chae Kyoun Ha.
