The government of the Republic of Korea is deeply concerned about the rapid deterioration of the situation in the Middle East following the recent Israeli ground operations in Lebanon and Iran’s missile attacks on Israel.

As now is the time to break the vicious cycle of provocation and retaliation and seek a diplomatic solution, the ROK government once again urges all parties to exercise utmost restraint to that end.
